Healthcare is the research field where these methodologies have been established for the longest time, so some of these resources might be specific to health and life sciences. However, the same general principles apply. Subject specific guidelines and resources have been highlighted.

Politics and Social Sciences

The Campbell Collaboration promotes positive social and economic change through the production and use of systematic reviews and other evidence synthesis for evidence-based policy and practice.

PRISMA and JBI guidelines (healthcare) can also be used - please see box above.

Business and Management

Guidelines available for health and life sciences topics, such as Cochrane and JBI, can still be referred to when learning about correct methodologies. However, the articles below explore how these methods should be applied specifically for business and management topics.

The scoping reviews chapter in the JBI Manual for Evidence Synthesis provides a comprehensive framework for conducting a scoping review.
