Law: Portals for Legal Research

Law library catalogues

Using other Law Libraries

Aston University Library is building the law collection in print and in e-format.  However, there are some circumstances where you may want to widen your research to resources outside the University collection.

*Full Time Undergraduates*
Aston University Library is a member of the Home vacation scheme which entitles you to visit other University Libraries in vacation periods.

If you are in your final year, you can order material that is not available in the Library collection.  The Inter Library Loan service is free to final year students and more information is available via our ILL webpages.

*Students on placement, postgraduates and academic staff*
Aston University Library is a member of the Home access scheme which allows you to apply for visiting and borrowing rights to UK and Irish University Libraries.  To find out more please visit our Using Other Libraries webpage.
