What is Discover Your Library?
Discover Your Library is the Library Welcome session for new students. You will meet your subject Information Specialist, find out how to access your module reading list and discover the sources you need to work on your 1st year assessments through SmartSearch.
How do you find your Discover Your Library session?
Your Discover Your Library is the Library Welcome session is listed on your University timetable. To access your session navigate to the University virtual learning environment (Blackboard). Access the Get Ahead module on Blackboard, select Enter Live Event and then find your timetabled session in the list.

Missed your Discover Your Library Session?
Don't worry! You can join another session in Welcome Week. Access the Get Ahead module on Blackboard, select Enter Live Event and choose another session in the list. Try and choose one with a similar subject focus.
