Placement Students: Welcome

  Aston University Library Services is available to you while you are on your placement.  Whether you are based in Birmingham, the UK or on a placement anywhere in the world, you can access the library services and resources. 

The staff will be able to give you help and advice by phone, e-mail and live chat once you have started your placement. You can also check 'Ask the Library' for answers to your question, http://libanswers.aston.ac.uk/.  Save yourself time and make sure that you have assessed your library and information needs before you go on placement.

Handy checklist 

• Check you have renewed your book loans before you leave.
• Check you have no outstanding fines.
• Check you can log on to your research databases off-campus
• Do you want to download eBooks? Check you have Adobe Digital Editions installed
• Remember to renew your 7 day loans while on placement.
