The Library is responsible for 9 Group Study Rooms. Six are based in the Library Building and three are based on the 2nd Floor of the Main Building. There are also two workshop rooms based on the 2nd Floor of the Library. Each workshop room holds 36 people.
The rooms are primarily for University students and library staff but there are points in the academic year where these are more likely to be available for University staff to request. Please see the information below:
During term time, Group Study Rooms on the Ground and Second Floors of the Library and some on the Second Floor of the Main Building can be booked by all registered Aston University students.
The Library group study rooms are: L014, L017 or L018 (Ground Floor); L207, L208, L209 (Second Floor).
The Main Building group study rooms are: MB203, MB205, MB208 (MB Second Floor, East)
The Library has two teaching rooms that are heavily used by Library Staff throughout the year. The rooms can be used separately or the dividing wall can be removed and rooms can be used together.

During September - December, the teaching rooms are blocked booked by Library Staff to accommodate the information literacy sessions run for the students across the Schools in the University. Please be advised that teaching continues up to May.
