The smartest way to start your search
Registering for guest access
Visitors who are not part of a recognised scheme such as SCONUL Access can visit Aston University Library up to 3 times per year for reference purposes. Please report to the Welcome desk at the Library entrance to obtain a one day reference pass.
Passes are available 09:00-17:00 Mondays - Fridays
Day passes are NOT available at the weekends.
Please note: from Monday 25 March 2013 - further notice:
- Day passes will not be issued
- There will be no access to the Library at any time for visitors with a SCONUL Reference Only card.
This is due to our busy examination period and a refurbishment which is taking place over the summer vacation.
Please note: you will need photographic ID (such as a passport) and proof of your current address. You may also be asked for proof of age.
Who can visit the Library?
Guests can visit Aston University Library up to 3 times per year for reference purposes. Staff and students at other institutions may be able to visit more frequently through the SCONUL Access scheme.
